What Does Ray-ban P Mean?
http://iloveraybans.blogspot.com/2011/03/what-does-ray-ban-p-mean.html
Ray-ban P, which you see on some of the lenses on Ray-ban sunglasses, some people are confused as to what this actually means, the P simply means that it has Polarized lenses, just P for short, so whenever you get Polarized Ray-ban sunglasses, make sure it says Ray-ban P on the lens, if it does not have the P at the end, it is not polarized.
There is one simple thing you can do to tell if your sunglasses are polarized, put your sunglasses in front of your computer monitor and turn it, at an angle, the lenses will turn pitch black, if it does that, you sure have polarized lenses, if it does not, then you don't have polarized lenses because if isn't polarized, nothing will happen.

what does polarized mean?
ReplyDeleteI thought that glass lenses cannot be polarized. Is there a plastic polarized coating or layer in these Ray Ban P's? I have tested mine and they are polarized at a 45 degree angle with respect to my computer monitor.
ReplyDeleteI lost my Ray Bans and want to replace them. Can someone help me identify the part number from a picture?
